Hill College celebrated its 21st annual Boots & Suits on April 10, 2026, at the Union House in Cleburne, Texas. Thanks to sponsors, attendees, and in-kind gifts, this year’s Boots & Suits raised a total of $108,895!
“Once again Boots & Suits was a resounding success! The funds raised directly impact the success of our students both through scholarships and the emergency aid fund. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who sponsors, donates to, attends, and volunteers—it takes everyone pulling together to make it happen,” said Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Ashlee Ferguson.
This event provides an opportunity for the Hill College community to gather, celebrate the college, and support current and future students. The support shown each year at Boots & Suits strengthens the college’s ability to lead students toward success.
Each year, the college serves over 5,000 students who are eager to advance their education and professional lives, and that number is growing. With continuing campus and program improvements, Hill College is making strides to continue to be a beacon of excellence to the communities it serves.
Over $90,000 was raised in sponsorships, an increase of over $26,000 from last year.
Dr. Mills and the Hill College staff would like to thank all the event sponsors for their generosity and support. The college would particularly like to thank the Legacy and Gold-level sponsors:
KYA, an organization the college has engaged with on several projects, including the new soccer facility, was the sole Legacy Sponsor donating $25,000. The KYA group specializes in creating modern, comprehensive indoor and outdoor educational and recreational environments. This is the second time KYA has sponsored Boots & Suits.
This year’s Gold Sponsors included Pinnacle Bank Texas, owned and managed by the Dinsdale family and a long-standing supporter of Boots & Suits and Hill College, as well as Scinary Cybersecurity, which provides cybersecurity for educational institutions and has sponsored Boots & Suits for the last two years. Each gave $5,000.
The college also received two $5,000 in-kind gifts from HumanAI, an open-source umbrella organization that is dedicated to integrating artificial intelligence in the arts and humanities, and Parsons Roofing, a local company based just outside of Waco, Texas.
In addition to sponsorship funds, which are used to fund scholarships, the event raised $12,630 for student emergency funds, a vital resource that provides food and supplies for students in need.
